When you think of home
Column Five contacted illustrators and designers from all over the world to create a poster that depicts what home means to the individual illustrator/designer. 50% of the proceeds will be donated to Acres of Love, which is a non-profit on a mission to create group homes for children orphaned as a result of the HIV-AIDS pandemic. You can purchase a poster at www.whenyouthinkofhome.com.
I concentrated on the city where I did not grow up, but where I wanted to live since I was a teenager, San Francisco, CA. I have lived in San Francisco for 5 years now and no matter what apartment I move into my view consists of other apartment windows and a peer into all types of families. Sometimes people are naked. I didn't illustrate that.
